Written by Peter Curac-Dahl | Jan 18, 2024 6:00:00 AM

Our latest update focuses on streamlining your ability to manage listings with clearer status icons and improved transparency for Amazon-specific issues. Here’s what’s new:

Updated Listing Status Icons

We’ve redesigned our listing status icons with a modern lozenge-style design to provide a clearer, more intuitive view of your listings’ current states. This update makes it faster and easier to identify and manage your products across channels.

Introducing Two New Amazon Statuses

1. Channel Warning

This status highlights issues with your Amazon listing that require attention but don’t prevent the product from being available for sale.

  • Examples: Missing product information, such as a description or brand name.
  • How to Respond: Address warnings to maintain product visibility and listing quality.

2. Channel Error

This status indicates a more critical issue, such as your product being removed from sale or an update to your listing being rejected by Amazon.

  • Examples: Pricing errors (e.g., price too high) or policy violations like copyright infringement.
  • How to Respond: Take immediate action to resolve the issue and restore the listing.

Real-Time Insights from Amazon Notifications

These new statuses are powered by Amazon’s Listing and Product notifications, ensuring that your SellerActive account reflects accurate, real-time updates directly from Amazon.

Why This Matters for Your Business

The updated icons and Amazon-specific statuses provide:

  • Faster Issue Resolution: Spot and address problems more efficiently.
  • Improved Listing Management: Maintain the quality and visibility of your products with immediate insights.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: For instance, if another seller removes a product description from an ASIN you’re selling, you’ll receive a Channel Warning. In most cases, you can restore the description by publishing an update directly from SellerActive.
