We're excited to announce an enhancement to our file import and export functionality, specifically tailored for channel-specific properties and overrides. These updates give you greater flexibility and control over your product data, saving time and simplifying your workflows.

What’s New?

Our latest update focuses on two key areas:

1. Channel-Specific Properties Without Matches
   You can now import and export properties that haven’t yet been matched to similar properties from other channels.

2. Channel-Level Overrides
   Set and manage unique values for specific channels directly through file uploads.

These improvements ensure previously unsupported properties are now seamlessly integrated into your workflows.

Key Features of the Update

Export Channel-Specific Properties

Easily include channel-specific properties in your exports by following these steps:

1. In the Products Workspace, select the SKUs you want to export.
2. Click the Export button.
3. Choose the option to Include channel-specific properties.
4. Select specific channels (if needed) to narrow your export.

Once the export is complete, properties associated with the selected SKUs will appear as columns in your file. Channel-specific properties are clearly labeled with the channel name (e.g., TikTok Reprotoxic Chemicals).

Import Channel-Specific Properties

Importing properties is now just as straightforward:

1. Prepare your file with property values that meet the required specifications (e.g., dropdown selections must match the app’s options).
2. Upload your file under the Products content type.
3. Ensure columns are named correctly—channel-specific properties will be identified by a channel icon.
4. Hit Import, and your updates will be applied to the relevant channel-specific properties or overrides.
