    Head to the TikTok Shop sign up page and complete the business application. Approval takes 2-6 days. If you have an existing TikTok account, you can link it to your shop.     Restricted categories are categories that require various product certifications to publish listings to (ex. cosmetics packaging labeling, food labeling, etc). Invite-only categories are categories that require additional approval from TikTok to be able to list within. Approvals can be requested through the seller center. 

  • Do I need to build out a social media profile on TikTok in order to sell on the platform?

    A TikTok profile is a great method for interacting with your customers. You can educate them on your product and learn about their needs. While sellers who produce TikTok content are typically the most successful, there are still opportunities to showcase your products in the Shop tab, through live streams, and by working with content creators to promote products

  • What fees are associated with selling on TikTok Shop?
